Supposed good governments such as democracies do loads of horrible things, supposed bad ones as dictatorships sometimes happen to do very good things. An educated, aware, with a high sense of what really civilization is, citizenship is what makes a government a good government.
USA government was a good one denying afro-americans basic rights for so long? Even if it was supposed to be a democracy? A massive movement of citizens did change governments' attitude and this is why I think democracy means nothing without a motivated citizenship.
Otherwise, democracy is just a name.
I am not keen to forgive a democracy's mistake, condemning a dictatorship's one. Mistakes are mistakes, always. And just because they don't involve the majority of people they can't be called "minor errors" or "travel incidents".
A good citizenship, that keeps itself informed and watches over its government, is what makes mistakes fewer and less disruptive.

Think of it like a corporation...with employees that help guide the corp's direction. If the higher-ups at the corporation don't keep the employees informed of all their business decisions, it's hard for the employees to help guide the corporation. This is why politicians love to keep the masses ignorant. It gives them more power to control their "company". Once they have that power they'll use it for their personal gain, which should be against corporate policy. This is what's so fucked up about our current administration. People are profitting at the expense of others that don't have as much control over the corporation.

I don't know if I mentioned it (specifically) here, but I was of the opinion that the 'powers that be' would try to distract from the Pentagon by focusing on the Towers.

They're playing the other flight (that crashed) for all its worth! Endless talk & a movie>? oy!
And the 'debunkers' still focus on the Towers, completely ignoring the Pentagon.
It's just sick. This is far worse than the "single bullet" it is fraud in plain sight.
In My Opinion: It'll take a near revolution to disband the lies and reveal the truth. Somehow I doubt anyone is willing to go that far. People would rather 'feel safe' in their illusions than realize the truth.
